- US President Joe Biden reaffirmed his support for Israel's security against all threats, including Hezbollah, during a phone call with Netanyahu. According to a US official, the two leaders discussed the arrangements in the North that would allow Israelis and Lebanese citizens to return safely.
"This is a shared priority of the United States and Israel," the official said. "This is something that the President has been directly involved in,” the official added.
Biden wants to find a diplomatic solution with Hezbollah which he reaffirmed again on the call on July 4, the official said.
